Will 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' be impacted by recent front office changes?

Asuka's recent WWE Raw Women's Championship push isn't likely to be terminated just because one of her biggest supporters backstage was just last week, according to WrestleTalk.

Paul Heyman's removal from his Executive Director's role last week generated much speculation about those he'd focused on during his time at the top. Though Asuka was included amongst them, the site has reported that she has a big fan in Vince McMahon and can expect her current run to continue in earnest.

The former NXT and SmackDown Women's Champion secured the final title from the trifecta by winning this year's Women's Money In The Bank ladder match. Claiming the belt secretly stowed away in it by departing former Champion Becky Lynch, she's since gone on to feud with Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair. A count-out draw with the former at Backlash and loss to the latter on that show's go-home Raw raised concerns, but sources in the original story note she's seen as a "top player" in the division, not least with the hole left by 'The Man's lengthy absence.

A rematch with Jax on Raw heavily implied a third match was forthcoming, with Flair perhaps set to be added based on recent overlaps between the trio.
