Ryback Done With WWE?

Is feeding time over for the Big Guy?

As the mass of humanity piled up in the ring last night on RAW to battle it out to decide a new #1 contender to the United States Championship, one particularly big guy was noticeably absent. Ryback, the man who had challenged champion Kalisto the night before on the Payback pre-show, was nowhere to be seen despite being included in the pre-match graphic on the show.

Reports are suggesting that the reason Ryback wasn't on the show at all last night is because the former Skip Sheffield was sent home. Whist that phrase always makes it sound a little high school, Ryback is supposedly in contract negotiations with the WWE and the two sides are struggling to come to an agreement.

Some are even suggesting that Ryback himself may have asked to be taken off TV. The Big Guy has been fairly outspoken all year regarding his frustration with his standing in the company, going so far as to contemplate finding 'another world to work', as per an interview in Dubai after WrestleMania.

Ryback's contract comes to an end in the summer, so we won't have to wait too long to see how this all transpires.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
