Sami Zayn left his Last Man Standing match with Kevin Owens on last week's episode of WWE SmackDown with his fair share of war wounds.

In case you missed it, the former NXT Champion posted the following images of his battered body to Twitter on Saturday:-

This came following a defeat to his long-time rival Owens the night before, who was able to put Sami down for a standing 10-count in around 23 minutes. It was a crazy, hard-hitting bout, full of plunder spots and big bumps, and closed on a trio of Powerbombs that saw Zayn put through the announce table, a standard table, then finally dropped on the ring apron.

Owens' victory means he qualifies for the upcoming men's Money in the Bank ladder match at Zayn's expense. He joins Ricochet, Riddle, John Morrison, Drew McIntyre, Big E, and two others TBD in the battle for the briefcase on 18 July.

Last Friday was the fourth time Owens and Zayn had gone one-on-one this year, with KO going 3-1 in the series. Sami's only win went down at Hell In A Cell 2021 on 20 June.
