Sami Zayn Makes WWE Monday Night Raw Return

Sami Zayn surprised fans in Brooklyn's Barclays Center last night when he made his unscheduled return from injury - sporting a sharp new buzzcut.

The Canadian, who has been on the shelf since last June, told the crowd, "if you miss WrestleMania, you may as well come back the night after WrestleMania." Generally speaking, nobody can get a word in edgeways on Monday Night Raw without being interrupted, and that was the case here, as new Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor emerged to challenge Zayn to his comeback match.

The Irishman halted all Sami's comeback momentum with a Coup de Grace. Following the defeat, the loser cut another promo, telling the fans he didn't miss them, and that WWE was a "super toxic environment."

After blaming the crowd for the company's ills, he slinked off with the parting words, "see you in hell".
