While Samoa Joe has undoubtedly been brilliant to watch both in and out of the ring during his WWE tenure, the one-time NXT Champion’s spell on the main roster has sadly been blighted by various injury issues. And now, there’s an update on the Samoan Submission Machine’s latest spell on the sidelines.

Having been on and off of WWE TV recently, Joe is currently out injured yet again. Earlier this year saw the charismatic grappler recovering from a broken thumb, and Joe is now dealing with a head injury.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, this latest in a long line of injuries actually occurred during the filming of an upcoming WWE commercial. The outlet reports that Samoa Joe took a bang to his head during a table-breaking spot that want array.

Right now, there’s no indicator on when exactly Joe could be cleared to compete – and the timing of this head injury obviously throws up major questions over Samoa Joe’s participation at WrestleMania 36.

Since debuting on the 'main roster' in January 2017, Joe has sadly had never had the chance to compete at the Showcase of the Immortals due to unfortunate injuries. Now, it could well be that this latest cruel twist in the tale again robs Samoa Joe of the chance to perform on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
