The United States Champion is on his way to the flagship show.

The 2019 Superstar Shake-Up might be over, but WWE aren't finished moving wrestlers across their many brands just yet.

This is according to Dave Meltzer on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. He claims that United States Champion Samoa Joe will soon be on the move to Monday Night Raw, where he is expected to feud with Braun Strowman over the midcard belt.

Joe was supposed to make the switch this week, but flu prevented him from attending the Raw taping.

Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor's move to SmackDown looked to have left Raw without a mid-level championship earlier this week. Joe's transfer will balance it out again, and WWE have already started building the rivalry, with him and Strowman brawling on the post-WrestleMania episode of SD last week.

None of this is any great surprise, but it makes sense. Having the United States and Intercontinental belts on the same show would be madness. Balor's SmackDown arrival means Joe has to leave, and while it's odd that WWE didn't just move him to Raw via vignette or graphic, him versus Strowman should be a fun battle of the hosses on Raw's upper-midcard.
