Former AEW star Saraya would love to launch a WWE return and catch up on some things she's missed out on over the years.

The ex-Paige left All Elite in late-March following an up and down three year spell, but has repeatedly stated during interviews with the media that Tony Khan was easy to deal with once it became clear she wanted to leave. The departure was mutual, so this wasn't a case of someone burning bridges with one company just to sign with another.

Saraya sat down with TV Insider to talk about her new book ('Hell In Boots: Clawing My Way Through Nine Lives') and her hopes for the future. During the chat, she revealed intentions to train with WWE star Natalya "and really find myself again". That's something the Brit feels she hasn't been able to do in more recent years despite appearing regularly on AEW TV.

Now, she's fully focused on doing some work with Nattie at the WWE stalwart's school and getting back into ring shape. Then, who knows? She's certainly impressed by all of the progressive strides women have made over on the WWE side since her departure in 2022. Things were looking great on that front for years before she left, but a newer crop of talent has turned Saraya's head.

She admits she felt like there was nothing else to achieve on the AEW side. So, fans shouldn't rule out thoughts of Saraya reverting to her Paige name and returning to the promotion with which she made her name: WWE.

Saraya is particularly keen to experience moments and match types she missed out on during her first whirl in WWE.

She's never had the chance to enter a Royal Rumble match, for example; as Paige, Saraya was on the WWE roster when the first women's Rumble happened in 2018. Sadly, injuries robbed her of the chance to get involved. She then announced her in-ring retirement shortly after WrestleMania 34, and thus missed out on following Rumbles between 2019-2022.

Similarly, the Elimination Chamber has eluded her. WWE presented the first ever women's Chamber bout in 2018, and it has continued to be a staple in years since. The timing was awful for the then-Paige. Again, she was dealing with serious injuries around that time, and revealed she'd been forced from the ring mere months after the first ever female Chamber match.

If Saraya does return to WWE, then she'll surely have the chance to tick both boxes and finally work some Rumble and Chamber magic. That's something she said during the interview with TV Insider that she'd be very interested in.
