Sarray returned to WWE television with a new look on last night's NXT 2.0, with the promotion seemingly repackaging her following her return from Japan.

NXT viewers hadn't seen Sarray on Tuesday nights since 9 November prior to last night. Soon after this, she confirmed she was taking some time away to visit her homeland for the first time in nine months, before returning to the United States and wrestling Lash Legend for 205 Live's 17 December episode.

Last night's vignette saw Sarray speak of returning to Japan to heal physically and mentally following a string of televised losses. Sporting her new look with glass and pigtails, she said she found a necklace gifted to her by her grandmother, which is seemingly capable of glowing. Declaring herself 'The Warrior Of The Sun,' Sarray said she is returning to NXT revived, ready to go, and with renewed energy and passion.

The 25-year-old has been with WWE since February 2020, though the COVID-19's pandemic's onset initially prevented her from moving to the United States, meaning she couldn't debut until 20 April 2021.

Sarray had lost her last three NXT matches prior to her short hiatus.
