Sasha Banks may be angling for a dream match with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

Banks, who has spoken of her desire to wrestle Stratus in the past, said the following of Trish during an appearance on WWE's The Bump yesterday:-

"I'm waiting for Trish. That's all on her. I feel like she's been dogging me. She's not been answering my calls. I'm all game, I'm always ready, I stay ready, so whenever Trish is ready for me, she knows where to find me."

Stratus has since responded:-

Whether or not the duo are building to something or just working their followers remains to be seen. Both are possible, but Stratus has spoken positively on the prospect of wrestling again in the past, telling Women's Wrestling Talk the following in December 2020:-

"If there is a chance for something that will brew in a certain way, I'm open to it. I've always said since I have retired, if there was an opportunity for me to go back it would be for something that's challenging, stimulating, the fans want it. Something that's exciting it does something for both parties involved."

Trish's last match was a well-received clash with Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019, which was her first singles bout since 2011. She and Banks first shared a ring at Royal Rumble 2018, engaging in a memorable, crowd-popping face-off that is yet to be followed up on.
