Sasha Banks Sets Up Unique Title Rematch Clause On WWE SmackDown

Carmella will get her rematch for the SmackDown Women's Title, but not before her pal Reginald faces Sasha Banks one-on-one.

The 'Legit Boss' laid that scenario on the table during a backstage promo segment on Friday's episode, and said that she was looking forward to kicking Reggie's ass before beating 'Mella yet again.

WWE has yet to confirm that either match will take place, but don't be surprised if Sasha vs. Reg is on tap for next week's SmackDown. Then, once Banks has dispatched the sommelier, she can move on to Carmella for another bout at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on 31 January.

Since debuting as 'Mella's glorified butler, Reginald has repeatedly been involved in her matches against Sasha. He's been portrayed as a loyal associate who will put himself in harm's way to help out. Therefore, it makes sense that Banks would want to meet him head on.

That's what babyfaces do, after all.

There's also a chance that WWE will add some more spice to the situation. Maybe Carmella gets to choose the stip for her next title shot if Reginald wins next week. That's just a guess though.
