Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Going On Last At WWE Hell In A Cell 2016
History is about to be made.
After weeks of debating behind-the-scenes which Hell in a Cell match would be the true main event of the pay-per-view, PWInsider has revealed that Sasha Banks and Charlotte will receive that honor tonight.
Just yesterday, the news going around was that the two would not be closing out the show, but someone must have got in Vince McMahon's ear and helped him change his mind.
In one way this is incredible news. Even when the Women's Revolution started, few would have guessed that we would see two women closing out a pay-per-view anytime soon. With WWE in the pay-per-view business since 1985, this really is a groundbreaking moment.
On the other hand, it's a bit of a shame that this wasn't announced ahead of time. History like this can only be made once, so it would have been cool to have known about this for weeks, and not just decided the day of the show.
Still, it's pretty amazing to ever see it happen at all, and hopefully this will set forth positive changes in the industry. And with Sasha Banks in her hometown, Charlotte at the top of her game and the historical context behind it, this should be an incredibly memorable match.
