Scarlett Bordeaux Was Originally Meant To Manage THIS WWE Star

Prior to Karrion Kross' NXT arrival, Scarlett was due to manage this main roster talent.

Scarlett Bordeaux has revealed she was originally intended to manage Damian Priest during her time under the WWE banner in NXT.

Speaking during a Signed by Superstars event (via HeelByNature), Bordeaux explained she was at one point due to be the Archer of Infamy's manager - with this coming at a time when it wasn't clear if Killer Kross would be allowed out of his IMPACT Wrestling contract.

"I don't know if you know this, but the original plan was for me to manage Damian Priest, because we weren't sure if Kross was going to be free. Then Kross got signed [by WWE]."

As alluded to, Kross was involved in a contract dispute with IMPACT prior to finally signing with WWE. Once that matter was finally resolved, Killer became Karrion and his real-life partner Scarlett Bordeaux was paired with him to great success.

Bizarrely, WWE opted not to keep Bordeaux with Kross once the two-time NXT Champion was moved to Raw. Rather than his operatic, cinematic, intense entrance and his beau at his side, poor Karrion was left with a ropey gladiator outfit, a major lack of mystique, and lost in quick fashion on his first night on the main roster.

Both Bordeaux and Kross would be released by WWE this past November as part of yet another round of "budget cuts". Scarlett is already a free agent after her 30-day non-compete clause expired, but Killer Kross has to wait until 2 February until he can work elsewhere; that being due to him being under a 90-day non-compete.
