Scott Steiner: 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

3. Scott Steiner vs. Samoa Joe - Slammiversary 2006

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jA_E9TKUA6k Scott Steiner's run in TNA, which lasted a little over 5 year in total provided a litany of entertaining wrestling moments. From his pairing with protege, "Little Poppa Pump" Petey Williams, his run with the Main Event Mafia, to Professor Steiner's Math Lesson, Steiner made the most of his time there. Two powerhouses from different eras, Joe and Steiner had a heated battle in which Steiner gave more effort than he did during his entire final stint in WWE. This was Joe's first major opportunity outside the X-Division and he appeared very motivated to make the most of it. TNA was using Steiner exactly how they should have in this match, giving the rub to an up and coming wrestler who needed wins over big names.
