Scott Steiner: 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

4. The Steiner Brothers vs. Sting & Lex Luger - SuperBrawl 1991

SuperBrawl 1 was headlined by a match that the majority of WCW audiences didn't care anything about (Ric Flair vs. Tastumi Fujinami, significant only because it was Flair's last PPV appearance before heading up north to WWE). However, it's a card that will go down in wrestling lore for...the debut of Kevin Nash as Oz. There was also a fantastic tag match on the show, so let's talk about that. Another dream pairing of sorts, this standout match pitted four of WCW's biggest stars against in each other in another face vs. face setting and really helped make this event worth watching. The crowd is absolutely on fire for this match as all four guys give it their all. Each man hits his big moves and signature spots. The run-in at the end by Nikita Koloff robbed us of a clean ending (which we weren't getting regardless due to the need to protect all parties involved) but put even more sympathy on Sting for their feud. This match, like the one vs. the Harts, is a great example of the absolute pinnacle of early 90s American tag team wrestling.
