Seth Rollins' Curb Stomp Expected To Return

WWE will bring it back in time.

Seth Rollins' curb stomp is "on hold", reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. That's WWE's decision until the the threat of former employee lawsuits are gone. The timeframe of those lawsuits could still be lengthy. Performers from ten and even thirty years ago are taking action against WWE for exposing them to dangers of head impacts. Obviously with this being a sensitive matter, the Rollins stomp to the head isn't exactly ideal. The fact WWE decided to put the move "on hold" rather than a ban, it suggests that the company has hopes of resolving their legal conflict with haste. At that point Rollins can do his trademark move again. It will be a huge pop moment when the move does return. The timing could work perfectly for Rollins's SummerSlam clash with Brock Lesnar. Imagine the battle hitting a thrilling climax, with Rollins finally busting out his classic move which hasn't been seen for months on end. The crowd will explode. Rollins will be happy to know that he'll be getting the move back in due course. It is so identifiable with his recent success, it is his defining manoeuvre. It will be great to see it return.
