RIP 'Second Coming': 2014-2020.

Seth Rollins came out to brand new entrance music at WWE Money In The Bank 2020 last night.

'The Monday Night Messiah's' ring walk took on a more, well, messianic quality, as he strode out for his WWE Championship match with Drew McIntyre to a track built primarily around choral voices, grandiose strings, and a mid-paced drumbeat.

A stark change for Rollins, who had used his old metalcore-tinged 'Second Coming' entrance theme since June 2014. It fits, though. If you're going to call yourself a 'Messiah,' every part of your act needs to be in-line with the gimmick - and the new joint feels a lot more appropriate than the down-tuned chugga-chugga guitars of old.

The change in music helped soundtrack a tremendous WWE Championship match between McIntyre and Rollins, who have always had good-to-great in-ring chemistry, but may have taken it to another level at MITB 2020. Drew walked out the victor, though Seth came agonisingly close on several occasions towards the end of what must go down amongst the Empty Arena Era's finest matches so far.

Props to those guys. They did a great job.
