Seth Rollins' dream Show of Show opponent is none other than Mr. WrestleMania himself, Shawn Michaels.

The Visionary revealed said dream 'Mania showdown during the WrestleMania 39 launch party, with the former WWE Champion touching on a number of other topics, such as what it's like working under Triple H again, during the event.

On the subject of who he'd love to face in a fantasy showdown on The Grandest Stage of Them All, a star many would argue sits as this generation's Showstopper would confess (H/T WrestlingHeadlines):

"Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels baby [is my WrestleMania dream opponent] … Shawn? I’ve teased him a little bit about it. I think after his last coming out of retirement match, I don’t know if he’s ever coming back again [Rollins laughed]."

And while any hopes of battling HBK under the bright WrestleMania lights appear to be all but lost thanks to Michaels' disastrous Crown Jewel 2018 appearance, his fellow D-Generation X pal Triple H has at least given Rollins a reason to be excited for the future.

As The Architect would explain when nudged on what it was like to work under the former NXT leader again:

"It’s exciting man, it’s very exciting [working for Triple H now]. Like I was saying in a couple interviews, it’s a brand new world. It’s a lot of the same but just a little bit different. It’s like kind of stepping into a wormhole into some parallel universe where it’s all WWE, it’s all the same people that you knew and love, you worked with before but now it’s just going in a different direction and so I’m very excited to see what the next six months look like and see where we end up. Triple H is awesome. Someone who has been a mentor to me for a long, long time and I’m very excited to see where he takes WWE."

The Game's presence has already been felt on WWE programming in everything from the way the company's mid-card straps have been presented, to the long-awaited setting up of the Women's Tag Team Championship tournament since taking over creative.

And with Rollins definitely sitting as one of Trips' prized protégés on the back of their time together as part of The Authority, it's not too hard to see why this particular top star is enthusiastic about what is on the horizon for him and the company going forward.
