The ultimate company man spoke out on one of WWE's darkest days.

Seth Rollins, ever the company man, was quick to hit Instagram Live to comment on the response to WWE's mass releases on Wednesday evening, slamming the promotion's critics.

Here's a notable snippet:-

"One thing I am seeing that is a little upsetting to me is all the negativity and hostility towards WWE. This is a difficult day for everyone, for all of us. I think if ever there was a moment for us to unify, for us to kind of band together and to try to do the best we can, to keep this business alive the best we know how, this is that moment. I think pointing fingers or saying you should have done this or you should have done that — I don’t know, it just doesn’t feel like the time or the place for it."

Rollins' words have sparked a predictably divisive response. This is understandable, as while messages of support should absolutely be encouraged during trying times like this, the negativity towards a company who still stood to make record-breaking profits even after the revenue lost due to the ongoing global situation is relevant. The cuts were a choice; not a necessity.

Two sides to the coin, as always.
