8. The Focus Is Still On The McMahons
This entire story is reminiscent of WrestleMania 2000 when we were forced to deal with "a McMahon in every corner" as the tagline of what should have been a huge event for the company. It's a widely reported fact that executives at the USA Network love the McMahons as characters and push for them to be on TV, and their egos are probably a play a bit there as well. In a time when WWE is struggling - and massively failing - to create new superstars, they've resorted to breaking the McMahon glass in case of emergency yet again. This time if it doesn't work, then there's nowhere left to go with the family as characters. We're going on almost 20 years off and on with some form of McMahon family drama dominating a large part of the show. It's time to put the family issues to rest and let the actual wrestlers carry the wrestling show.
