Shane McMahon's 9 Most Death-Defying WWE Stunts

1. Leap Of Faith Off The Titantron Onto Big Show - Backlash 2001

Three. That's how many times this crazy son of a bitch went flying off the Titantron. And while his fall at SummerSlam happened first (and thus, received a lot of the attention), this one gets top ranking for a couple of reasons: 1) It was from higher up, and 2) He didn't just fall, he had to jump. That last part may not sound like a big deal, but just imagine standing 50 feet in the air, looking down at your landing spot (which must seem like two square inches from all the way up there) and then physically making your legs go. That's what Shane did. He said "All right, let's go plummet 4 to 5 stories down onto another human being." And then he just...did it.
At least with the SummerSlam fall, he could just let go of the structure and fall backwards. He didn't even have to look at where he was falling, just cross his fingers (not literally of course) and hope that he didn't die. Not to say that's easy, but holy hell it has to be easier than this. To this day, there aren't many stunts in WWE history that can compete with this one. In terms of sheer lunacy and ballsiness, there's the Jeff Hardy Swanton onto Bubba Ray Dudley, Mick Foley being thrown from the top of Hell in a Cell, and this. That's some pretty damn good company for Shane McMahon to be in.
