WWE icon Shawn Michaels says THIS wrestler has been 2023's standout performer.
NXT chief Shawn Michaels believes Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio deserves to be called WWE's MVP for 2023 - HBK told Peter Rosenberg on 'Cheap Heat' that 'Dirty Dom' has had a tremendous year, and he's really proud of how far the youngster has come.
Going further, Shawn described Mysterio as "the hardest-working man in show business". The compliments didn't stop there either. Michaels also referred to Dom Dom as an "ironman" for WWE, and added that everyone's so proud of how adaptable Mysterio has become in-ring and on the mic.
He can do pretty much anything WWE higher-ups ask of him.
HBK is also pleased by how professional Dominik is behind the scenes. That goes a long, long way in 2023. It might've been somewhat understandable had Mysterio developed an ego due to his work throughout the year. Thankfully, that doesn't appear to be the case.
Dominik is primarily a Raw star due to his Judgment Day ties, but Michaels has enjoyed booking him on NXT when given the chance. Mysterio is the current NXT North American Champ. This is his second run with the strap.
