Following the news that TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will be challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Title at NXT Battleground next weekend, there's been plenty of rumblings that the working relationship between NXT and TNA will see more TNA talents appear on NXT programming and vice versa.

On this topic, Shawn Michaels has teased "very exciting announcements" to come where it pertains to NXT and TNA.

Speaking to Johnny Resindez for KTNV Channel 13, the Heartbreak Kid noted:

"Obviously, a lot of those decisions get made by people above me, but look, I have no doubt that there’s gonna be some very exciting announcements coming down the pipe, let’s put it that way. I will say this, again, it comes back to wanting to entertain the people that do this and, you just said it, for fans. We have wanted A, B, and C for so long."

For those who may have missed it, Jordynne Grace appeared on this past weekend's NXT, being revealed by Ava to be Roxanne's surprise Battleground opponent. This marks Grace's second appearance under the WWE umbrella, with Thicc Mama Pump having been a shock entrant in this year's women's Royal Rumble; an appearance that saw Grace put in a fantastic performance that caught the eye of many.

Up next, Jordynne will face Stevie Turner on NXT this coming Tuesday ahead of her Battleground bout a week today.
