Shawn Michaels To Host Face-To-Face On This Week's NXT

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will host a face-to-face meeting between NXT Champion Finn Balor and Number #1 Contender Kyle O'Reilly on this week's episode of NXT on USA.

The Undisputed Era member shocked the world last Wednesday when he overcame Kushida, Bronson Reed, Timothy Thatcher and Cameron Grimes in the first-ever Gauntlet Eliminator match to become Balor's next challenger at TakeOver 31.

Now, the promotion have announced that the 'Heart-Break Kid' will be present on the upcoming edition of the black and yellow show as a special guest host for Balor and O'Reilly's first in-ring confrontation.

Also, this week's NXT show will see North American Champion Damien Priest join forces with NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai as the two battle against their TakeOver challengers in the husband and wife duo of Johnny Gargano and Candace LeRae. Dakota Kai will also have a chance to avenge being thrown out of the NXT Women's Championship Number #1 Contender's Battle Royal by Shotzi Blackheart, with the two meeting in the squared circle this Wednesday.

With TakeOver 31 only a week away, this week's developmental episode is shaping up to be a can't-miss occasion.
