Sheamus was busted open on last night's episode of WWE Raw, bleeding from the nose after being caught by a wayward strike from Humberto Carillo in their singles match.

The WWE United States Champion appeared to be bleeding after taking an elbow shot as the match returned from a commercial break. Competing in his second bout of the night, a hacked-off Sheamus lost to Humberto after letting himself get distracted by an interfering Ricochet, allowing Carrillo to score the roll-up.

Prior to wrestling Carrillo, Sheamus lost to Ricochet in a little over a minute, doing so via another distraction roll-up when Humberto's music hit.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson confirmed after Raw that Sheamus had suffered a broken nose. Johnson states that the United States Champion will only miss time if he is told to sit out by the company.

Sheamus hit Twitter to chastise Ricochet and Carrillo for their "utter scumbaggery" following the show, sharing a bloody photo of himself in the process:-

The Irishman has been feuding with Carrillo and Ricochet since last month, defeating both men one-on-one, including a seven-minute triumph over Ricochet on the WrestleMania Backlash Kickoff Show.
