Special "Go Back" Episode Set For Next Week's WWE SmackDown

WWE have revealed that next week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX will be a special "Go Back" edition.

Judging from the promo video which announced the upcoming special, it looks like the company will be treating the episode as a throwback of sorts. This has obviously led to the usual wave of fans crying out for WWE to bring back one of the blue show's old iconic sets, with the big silver fist being a clear frontrunner for the visual fans most want to see during this particular episode.

WWE also promoted an upcoming contest for that special "Go Back" edition of SmackDown. In a WrestleMania 37 rematch, Seth Rollins will attempt to avenge his loss at the Show of Shows against Cesaro in a week's time.

As of writing, no other contests have been announced for next week's show and there hasn't been any other information on what exactly the "Go Back' edition will entail. However, it's safe to assume there'll be some fallout from Roman Reigns' slaughtering of Daniel Bryan post-main event victory over the YES! man, Big E and Apollo Crews' Intercontinental Championship match ending in utter chaos, and the fact that Tamina and Natalya picked up a clean win over the current Women's Tag Team Champions.
