It looks like TNA Wrestling will soon be without a home, following reports from TMZ and f4wonline that Spike will not be renewing the Impact TV series. TNA had been with Spike for nine years. Network officials let the company know this week so TNA would have an opportunity to shop their show to other networks. This comes just a week after Vince Russo was revealed to be working for TNA as a consultant, a decision in which Spike did not like. Without a television deal in place, it is unlikely that TNA could continue to operate. However, other Networks may be interested in picking up the show. The ratings aren't too bad for American cable television. Dixie Carter, who ironically was written off TV in an episode that will air next week, gave the impression to talents that it was TNA's decision to leave Spike. That wasn't the case, however, as Spike informed the company they'd not be re-newing the deal. The situation has caused many within the wrestling world to suggest Jeff Jarrett's upcoming Global Force Wrestling may end up with a slot on Spike, but due to the terms of his TNA release, he's unable to negotiate with the network. TNA is now in a grave position and could be out of business by the end of the year. Financially the company has been struggling even with the Spike payments. Losing the TV money will probably kill them.
