Could these two NXT favourites be heading to the WWE main roster imminently?

With the NXT roster being given next Tuesday off, next week's episode of NXT television has already been taped. And it looks as if the Creed Brothers may be on their way to the main roster.

The Creeds are due to take on the Dyad on next week's NXT, where the losing team will have to leave the brand. While many predicted this would be a loss for Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler, it was actually Julius and Brutus who suffered defeat.

Via PWInsider.com, this match saw Joe Gacy ejected from ringside, Ivy Nile and Ava Raine brawled, and the distracted referee didn't see a masked man in a red hoodie headbutt Julius Creed. From there, Reid and Fowler were able to pin Julius to score the victory.

While obviously no main roster move has been made official for the Creed Brothers yet, this would certainly be one way to have them depart NXT in order to move to Raw or SmackDown.

Once this match was announced, many presumed the Dyad would lose the contest. After all, Reid and Fowler requested their WWE release earlier in the year, and the pair have also taken to social media to detail how they plan to leave the company when their contracts expire on 15 October 2023.

Instead, it looks as if WWE may view the Creed Brothers as being ready for a main roster call-up.
