Becky Lynch and Bayley will take their feud into a steel cage next week on the 30th anniversary episode of WWE Raw.

The rivalry between the two Horsewomen has been underwhelming so far, with Bayley's heel persona sputtering and not really clicking these days. Lynch still has fan support, but you can almost feel it waning the longer this feud continues.

Since returning from injury, Becky has set her sights on Damage CTRL, though she hasn't had consistent backup. Mia Yim served as a tag partner a couple weeks ago in a losing effort, and no one backed up The Man Monday night when Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai came out to confront her. Yim defeated Sky later on with Candice LeRae seconding her up, so it's safe to assume they could back up Becky.

On Monday, Bayley zeroed in on the root of her anger at Lynch: She and the other Horsewomen were called up to the main roster in 2015, leaving her behind in NXT while they grabbed her limelight and WrestleMania spot. It's a pretty flimsy argument considering both women are former world champions.

Lynch goaded Bayley into accepting the match as a way to counter the constant interference from Kai and Sky, but we all know how well a cage works at preventing outside help.

Still, a cage match between these two promises to be a really good contest, so this might be another case of the match exceeding the build and fans just remembering the in-ring action and forgetting the lackluster segments that got us there.
