Stephanie McMahon's 10 Best Promos Of Her Authority Heel Run

8. Stephanie Agrees To Match With Brie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVbMzUencfs If you want a good example of how solid Stephanie has become on the mic, consider her recent feud with Brie. There€™s a reason the Bella Twins don€™t get much promo time on Raw, and it€™s shown during the past month. (Now, to be fair, both Nikki and Brie sound just fine and present themselves really well on Total Divas, so something just isn€™t translating on Raw. Maybe we can chalk this up to the overly scripted nature of WWE these days rather than blame Brie.) Regardless, Brie€™s promos have been wooden and forced, leaving Stephanie to carry most of the heavy lifting. Thankfully, she already has a lot of momentum built up from the entire Daniel Bryan storyline, and she has channeled a lot of that built-in hatred from the fans. The reactions are mostly centered on Stephanie €“ fans booed her while she ridiculed Brie and cheered when Bella slapped Stephanie around. In this case, Stephanie€™s crocodile tears as she pleaded that she hadn€™t competed in more than a decade were golden. She feigned fear at getting in the ring against Brie, then slapped her right off the apron. And just like that, she made Brie a big-time sympathetic character without Daniel Bryan.
