4. Stephanie Fires Big Show
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edXIIB397-Q It seems like a lifetime ago, but for a while in late 2013, Daniel Bryans position as The Authoritys whipping boy was usurped by the Big Show. The convoluted backstory of Show being broke and whatnot was way over the top and probably unnecessary, especially considering how effective promos like these between Show and Stephanie McMahon were. Stephanie spends nearly five minutes berating Show, even jabbing her finger into his chest telling him he cant go now as he asked. She then slaps him across the face six times before firing him. This is something that Vince couldnt do with talent that Stephanie can pull off: If Vince punched or slapped a superstar, fans would pretty much expect there to be retribution coming quickly. But in this PG era, Stephanie is not going to face any physical consequences for hitting a male wrestler, which makes her unloading on someone like Show even more heelish. She just looks unhinged and drunk with power, which is the right note for The Authority to hit.
