Stephanie McMahon’s 10 Most Memorable WWE Matches

8. Stephanie, Triple H And Steve Austin vs. Team Extreme - Raw (April 9, 2001)

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3wh8v_team-extreme-vs-stone-cold-hhh-and_sport One week after forming the most powerful duo in wrestling history, Triple H and Steve Austin partnered with Stephanie for a huge Six-Person Tag Team match against the Hardy Boyz and Lita. Stephanie was no stranger to Lita, whom she had cheated to defeat on several occasions before losing the Women's Championship to the fiery redhead the previous August. Now, she would be tasked with keeping her former rival at bay long enough for Austin and Triple H to dismantle the Hardys and move on. With someone as competitive and determined as Lita, that proved far more difficult. Late in the bout, the action spilled to the outside, leaving Stephanie to battle Lita all by her lonesome. That did not end so well for the Billion Dollar Princess, who found herself on the receiving end of a Twist of Fate and the moonsault. It spelled the end of any chance the heels had of winning the match as Lita pinned Stephanie's shoulders to mat for the second time in as many matches, proving her dominance of the future ruler of all things WWE. Of course, Stephanie got the last laugh as Lita and the Hardys endured a sickening beating at the hands of Austin and Triple H, who resorted to blasting the popular Diva with a steel chair, much to the disgust and dismay of the fans.
