Sting Announced For TNA Hall of Fame As First Inductee

Sting was announced last night as the first inductee into the newly formed "TNA Hall of Fame".

Sting was announced last night as the first inductee into the newly formed "TNA Hall of Fame". His induction was announced at TNA's 10 year celebration pay-per-view TNA Slammiversary last night. TNA President Dixie Carter said;
€œIn honor of that, we felt it was time to begin recognizing the contributions of those who have made the greatest impact on our success."
TNA Wrestling was founded in the summer of 2012 in Nashville by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett, a year after the death of World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling. Sting has won the TNA World Heavyweight Title on four occasions and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once. He is obviously a huge legend in wrestling overall and in TNA Wrestling and becoming the first wrestler to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame is smart as he is a name that WWE won't be interested in using in their own Hall of Fame for many years as he has never wrestled for the WWE.
