In what was yet another impressive episode of Dynamite, this week's AEW offering closed out with a brutal, wince-inducing main event that saw not only Darby Allin retain his TNT Championship against Brian Cage, but also saw Sting embark on his first AEW physicality.

With Hook distracting the referee, Ricky Starks crotched Darby on the top rope - but poor Absolute's actions saw Sting make his way to ringside and lay out the Stroke Daddy with a couple of baseball bat shots.

From there, Allin would quickly grab the win courtesy of a Crucifix Bomb, retaining his TNT Championship in the process.

Sting getting physical was obviously a notable element of this contest - and seeing Starks bumping for the Stinger was phenomenal to watch - but the biggest standout of this match was the sheer beating that Darby Allin took. Cage certainly lived up to his Machine moniker, and Allin took numerous bumps that were sure to bring a tear to the eye of anyone watching.

It's clear that Darby Allin's business with Team Taz isn't quite yet finished, so now we're faced with the question of whether or not we'll at some point see the TNT Champion and Sting teaming together to battle some of Taz's charges.
