'Stone Cold' Steve Austin Confirming WWE WrestleMania 38 Status TODAY

You won't have to wait long to hear 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's response to Kevin Owens.

As confirmed by WWE on Twitter earlier today, the living legend will answer Owens' invitation to appear on The KO Show at WrestleMania 38 later today:-

This follows the events of last night's Raw. Upset at him and tag partner Seth Rollins' inability to win the Raw Tag Team Titles earlier in the night, Owens closed the show with an in-ring promo, saying that for 'Mania, he wanted to host somebody from Texas. Booker T, JBL, and Shawn Michaels were all cycled through as potential options before KO landed on 'Stone Cold.'

Austin and Owens have been linked to a WrestleMania confrontation for several weeks now. Initial reports pointed towards 'Stone Cold' potentially coming out of in-ring retirement at the event, competing in what would be his first match in 19 years, though it has since emerged that Austin is yet to agree to such a thing. With WWE pushing for a full-on bout, current speculation points towards something physical outwith the confines of a match.

Perhaps Steve will shed more light later on.
