Rope Break reports that NXT's Nikkita Lyons could well be in the frame for a surprise call-up to either Raw or SmackDown soon. The website did state that fans should treat this as a rumour for now, but they've heard rumblings that Triple H and Shawn Michaels will soon bang heads to make it happen.

Reportedly, it's more likely that Lyons will join the Raw roster than the SmackDown one. WWE's blue brand did just receive a hefty influx of talent by promoting Fatal Influence trio Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, so perhaps Hunter figures somebody like Nikkita would be best deployed on Mondays.

Lyons was in the house for the 18 May edition of the flagship, at least. There, she lost to Maxxine Dupri in a match taped for the 21 May episode of 'C' show Main Event. Typically, wrestlers called up to fill slots like that are soon called on to become permanent parts of the main roster, so Nikkita on Raw could happen sooner rather than later.

She signed on the dotted line with the market leader in 2021, but Lyons has been pretty start/stop on NXT to date. Several nasty injuries have disrupted her time in developmental, but HBK and Trips are apparently satisfied with the progress she's made.

It's worth saying that WWE themselves haven't given Rope Break much encouragement here. They aren't expressively saying yes or no on Nikkita hitting the main crew, but the site still reckons it's looking likely over the next couple of months.
