Tag Team SPLITS UP On WWE Raw

The tag team is over - and the grudge match is set for Crown Jewel 2021.

The tag team of Mansoor and Mustafa Ali are no more.

Presented as an odd couple from the start, with Ali consistently cold towards his more enthusiastic partner, the duo were ripped apart on last night's WWE Raw - and are now set to wrestle each other at Crown Jewel 2021 (21 October).

The split happened after a loss to the recently reunited Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. A Michinoku Driver scored the win for the Hurt Business members, with Alexander making the pin on Ali. The heels bickered afterwards, with a visibly frustrated Ali shoving his now-former partner down, saying he was tired of their worsening losing habit.

A backstage interview with Kevin Patrick saw Mustafa berate Mansoor later on, calling him "a giant waste of time." Continuing the domineering verbal beatdown, Ali eventually snapped, laying Mansoor to cement the separation and behind the feud.

WWE has now announced Mustafa Ali vs. Mansoor for Crown Jewel:-

Mansoor and Ali had been teaming since June, when a paranoid Mustafa effectively recruited the Saudi up-and-comer to fight the "backstabbers" elsewhere on the roster. Their match appears to be a vehicle to put Mansoor over in his home country, which has been a theme since Super ShowDown 2019, where he triumphed in a 50-man battle royal.
