Tank Abbott vs Ronda Rousey?

This former WCW star is issuing an open challenge to fight any woman, including Ronda Rousey, and if they lose they have to make him a sandwich.

Back in the late 1990s, at the height of the pro wrestling boom, many UFC fighters who peaked in the still relatively young world of Mixed Martial Arts, were clamoring to enter the industry. One such UFC veteran, who was signed by WCW, during that time is Tank Abbott. Some UFC legends, like Ken Shamrock, entered the WWE and went on to reach levels of success close to if not on par with that of their respective MMA career, cementing their wrestling legacies in the hearts and minds of pro wrestling fans everywhere. Tank Abbott's pro wrestling career, however, was marred by disappointment. In fact, Abbott's pro wrestling career will forever be defined by one controversial moment, a moment that led to his immediate firing by WCW. Abbott, on live PPV, in a completely unscripted moment, pulled a knife out on another wrestler, held it to his throat, and threatened to "f***ing kill" him. Knowing that, it should come as no surprise that Tank Abbott is once again making news, this time due to a bizarre, misogynistic rant on his podcast, The Proving Ground with Tank Abbott. TMZ has provided a clip from Tank Abbott's podcast in the video above. In the clip, the former UFC fighter says "I will fight any woman on Earth for free." He continues "If I win, which is going to happen - and you€™re going to get bashed up good - you have to make me a sandwich. If you win, I€™ll give you $100,000." Abbott goes on to use the slur "tranny" when adding the caveat that his challenge is only open to women who were "born a female." Tank Abbott also sets his sights on one specific woman, Ronda Rousey. Abbott asserts that because men are superior fighters he would beat Rousey because "she's a girl" and has "all this emotional stuff." Ronda Rousey is the highest-paid fighter in the UFC and is undefeated in her mixed martial arts career. She is currently the UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tank Abbott has lost 8 of the last 10 fights he's had since returning to MMA in 2003 after his wrestling career. He's had a total of one fight over the last 6+ years. Place your bets?
