Taylor Wilde's IMPACT In-Ring Return Confirmed
The former Knockouts Champion is scheduled to face Kimber Lee this Thursday.
IMPACT Wrestling have confirmed Taylor Wilde will return to in-ring competition on this Thursday's AXS TV episode. She'll face Kimber Lee, the curator of Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo.
This comes after Wilde, a former Knockouts Champion in her own right, returned to the company at this past Sunday's Rebellion pay-per-view. There, she saved Tenille Dashwood from a beatdown courtesy of Purrazzo, Lee, and Susan, dropping Susan with her old German suplex in the process.
Taylor's return to IMPACT had been in the works since early last year, with it officially being confirmed by the company themselves a few weeks ago via teaser vignette. She's been out of IMPACT - and active professional wrestling as a whole - for over a decade.
The Tornoto native's last IMPACT match came on the 26 November 2010 edition of Xplosion, losing to former championship-winning tag partner Sarita. She's wrestled once since then, a singles loss to Alissa Flash the following February for Pro Wrestling Revolution.
As well as Taylor's return to IMPACT, we've also seen Rachael Ellering debut, capturing the Knockouts Tag Team Championships alongside Jordynne Grace. Reports state IMPACT are set to bolster their knockouts division throughout 2021, with The IIconics, Mickie James, and Chelsea Green all being teased for July's Slammiversary pay-per-view.
