The Bella Twins have added more context to their comments bashing WWE's recent Raw Is XXX celebrations.

Nikki and Brie slammed the company for failing to properly showcase how women have helped shape the flagship show over the years. Now, during an interview with 'The Tamron Hall Show', the Hall Of Famers have doubled down on their comments but explained them in greater detail.

Both sisters say they were left "upset" by Monday's three-hour show - not only for themselves, but for loads of other female workers who had given their all to WWE over the years. They were aggrieved that the promotion didn't invite more former women's division favourites to show up on the broadcast too.

Nikki added that it was disappointing to see vignettes for almost every aspect of Raw other than the women: "Why don’t you even have a video package showcasing what all these incredible women have done?".

Meanwhile, Brie said their criticism comes from "passion for women" and is not exclusively about their own careers being overlooked. She closed by saying there's a "long list" of female talents who deserved some spotlight.
