The Bella Twins Return On This Week's SmackDown

Nikki and Brie will feature on A Moment of Bliss this Friday.

The Bella Twins look set to return to WWE television this week.

As confirmed on WWE.com, Nikki and Brie will feature as guests on a special edition of A Moment of Bliss on Friday's episode of SmackDown, with the writeup suggesting that host Alexa Bliss will be out digging for "juicy news."

The past few months have been eventful for the Bellas. January saw the duo announce that they were both pregnant, with Brie saying "people are going to think that's a joke, people are going to think we planned it." They have also been linked with induction into the WWE Hall of Fame this year - a rumour that will only be strengthened by the news that they're set to appear on SmackDown.

Neither Bella has wrestled since late 2018. Nikki's last bout was a successful Raw Women's Championship battle with Ronda Rousey at the lauded Evolution pay-per-view, while Brie hasn't worked since teaming with her sister and Rousey to face The Riott Squad on Raw a few weeks prior. Its extremely unlikely that we'll ever see either compete again though they'll always be used for appearances like the one advertised for Friday.
