The Complete A-Z Of The Undertaker
17. J - Judgment Day
A pay-per-view established in 1998 and centred heavily on the first ever 'Inferno Match' in company history, Undertaker became synonymous with the show that bore similar imagery to his 'Deadman' persona.
The matches didn't always deliver, but his involvement in the event almost made it a symbolic night for his character over the years it ran.
The second edition of the show in 2000 was promoted around his red hot return as the American Bad Ass, 2001 saw the show pointed towards his failed run at Stone Cold Steve Austin's WWE Title, 2002 brought greater success when he dethroned Undisputed Champion Hulk Hogan, 2004 and 2006's editions of the show featured only his imagery in the marketing around his presence despite only working middling efforts against Booker T and The Great Khali respectively, and he challenged for the World Title as part of his lengthy feud with Edge in 2008's penultimate edition of the show.
Under the radar, it was a pay-per-view he really made his own.
