Now just over a year removed from their first official event as a company, May 2019's Double Or Nothing, the fledgling company has firmly established itself as a viable alternative to WWE, serving as the first potentially realistic competition to Vince McMahon's juggernaut in over a decade. It's still early days, but the combination of the Khan family's financial investment, TNT's commitment to airing Dynamite on their network and the workrate of the growing roster of wrestlers committed to putting on great matches week after week is certainly starting to pay off.
Not everything has been perfect, far from it, but the majority of the first year has been hugely engaging. Previously unknown names have ascended to the top of the card, veterans have breathed new life into their careers and performers previously derided as 'spot monkeys' or 'indie darlings' have both thrived and struggled in weekly programs.
