The Hardy Boyz Returning To Full-Time WWE Schedule
Matt reveals the Boyz are back for good.
Just a few months back, Matt Hardy's lengthy career had seemingly came to a sudden and sad end courtesy of a nasty spinal injury. A quick dip in the Lake of Rebirth later, and not only is Matt miraculously back competing alongside his brother Jeff, but the siblings look set to resume a full-time schedule.
In a Tweet over the weekend, Version Whatever We're Up To Now (5.0?) announced that as of Sunday's WWE live event in Peoria, IL, The Hardy Boyz would be back on the road permanently.
At least... for now. As the elder sibling warned: "Don’t miss us if we’re in your town.. IT MAY BE OUR LAST TIME THERE."
Matt's tandem with the unlucky Bray Wyatt was hastily terminated last year, when the Broken one revealed he was even more broken than it seemed. Years of bumps had caused his pelvis to gradually begin fusing with his lower back, resulting in a moratorium on his in-ring career.
After a few months of physical therapy in his home state of North Carolina, Hardy made a sudden and unexpected return to action just a few weeks before Fastlane earlier this year, ditching Bray for his brother. The pair have since rolled back the years to embark on one last nostalgia run, before they both have to hang up the flared pants for good.
