The Hardyz Vs Golden Truth On WWE Raw Tonight?
Possible tag bout set up coming out of Payback.
At Sunday's Payback kickoff show, The Golden Truth laid out a challenge to The Hardy Boyz - if they managed to retain the Raw Tag Team Titles in their PPV match against Sheamus and Cesaro, the veterans wanted a shot at The Hardyz the following night on Raw. With The Hardyz victorious, there's nothing standing in the way of that match happening tonight.
There is one potential wrench in the plans, though - Sheamus and Cesaro themselves. At Payback, The Hardyz scored a hard-fought win that saw Matt get bloodied and Jeff lose a tooth, but they still overcame the former champions. After the bout, Sheamus and Cesaro offered the multi-time champs a show of respect, but it was all a ruse - they beat down Matt and Jeff with an assault that cemented them as the newest heels on the Raw roster.
With that in mind, The Hardyz (who appear one step closer to breaking) may be distracted by thoughts of Shesaro during their match with The Golden Truth - or worse. It's possible that tonight's tag match on Raw could simply offer Cesaro and Sheamus the opportunity to attack The Hardyz once more.
