It was a rough night for the IInspiration in their AEW TV debut on last night's Dynamite.

There, Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee lost in under 90 seconds to the Brawling Birds tandem of Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, with McKay hit with the Two Birds One Stone finisher, and both IInspiration members stacked and pinned.

The IInspiration signed multi-year deals with AEW last month, debuting on a non-televised Brisbane, Australia live event that took place the day after Grand Slam Australia. Technically, that House Rules show did feature the AEW in-ring debut of McKay and Lee, picking up a dominant win over a couple of local talents, Aysha and Frankie B, but last night's Dynamite was the first time the IInspiration had wrestled on AEW TV. In fact, it was the first time the team had appeared on AEW TV, period.

Previously, the IInspiration had been with TNA Wrestling, departing the Anthem promotion after losing the Knockouts Tag Titles to the Elegrance Brand on TNA's AMC debut back in January.

For fans of the hugely charismatic Australians - formerly the IIconics in WWE, of course - it's certainly been a strange first few weeks for the IInspiration in AEW; debuting on a non-televised show, not being mentioned whatsoever on TV in the subsequent weeks, and then getting decimated in 90 seconds in their first proper appearance.
