The Last Perfect WWE Raw

Daniel Bryan The Bella Twins

Daniel Bryan and Ted Dibiase contest the sort of match that looked better then that it would now, but United States Champion Bryan is proper, proper over regardless of Michael Cole's relentless chirping about him being a nerd as part of that feud they used to have.

He's seconded by future real life wife Brie Bella from the beginning, but joined by Nikki at the end as they literally fight over fawning over him. Gross to think about, all that business you're now thinking about, but this led to Bryan revealing he was already seeing Gail Kim because Vince McMahon presumably found it hilarious that vegans had sex lives too.

They were still doing the "Smart, Sexy, Powerful" shtick for the Divas at this point, which Punk shoots on by noting that none of the women are given the agency to be all three. It was all tell rather than show, but as you'd expect with Natalya in charge, the match is pretty great for the time. Fox pulls out Natalya's hair at one point to escalate violence that includes a hanging vertical suplex with squats and the match-winning Sharpshooter, even if your attention is diverted by Jerry Lawler calling the Champion "Natalie" and Punk commenting that she's too young for him.

John Morrison and Tyson Kidd have a match the 2010 internet would have purred over even if it's a little basic by 2020's spoilt standards, but the main eventers are walking to the ring and Michael Cole has a feeling that a title might change hands tonight. Stay tuned, eh?
