The List Of Cody: One Year Later
1. Who's Next?
Cody has checked nine of the fourteen entries off his list over the course of the year, and he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Unfortunately, a few of those goals are out of reach right now. Without a return to WWE, Roderick Strong is a no-go.
Shibata, sadly, is also probably not going to happen, given the catastrophic injury he suffered during his match with Kazuchika Okada. Cody did share the ring with Shibata during a tag team match in February at the Honor Rising show, but a singles match between the two never materialized.
What about the rest of the list?
With Adam Cole's future up in the air, you can bet that Northeast Wrestling or another federation will no doubt try to book Cole vs. Cody, if WWE doesn't snatch Cole up first.
His role as ROH World Champion, as well as current tensions within the Bullet Club, raises the possibility of another list match. If Cody splits from the faction, a match with the Young Bucks could happen.
Also, if Brandi hasn't acted as his personal ring announcer yet, that's virtually guaranteed at some point.
The future has never been brighter for the grandson of a plumber. Who knows where he'll be when the list's second anniversary rolls around?
