Goldust returned to WWE one more time in late 2013, and became more integral to WWE than at any time in the previous decade by teaming with his little brother Cody in their battles with The Authority. Cody lost his job after speaking out against Triple H but failed to win it back in a match against Randy Orton, and soon after Goldust mirrored the actions of his brother against Orton.

Goldust and Cody subsequently teamed up to frequently take RAW hostage during segments involving The Shield, giving the Hounds of Justice a taste of their own medicine. The duo won their jobs back in a fantastic match against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at Battleground before defeating the same duo to pick up the WWE Tag Team Championships a few weeks later.

It should have led to great things for both Goldust and Cody but WWE was unable to capitalise on this momentum, instead having The Brotherhood drop the titles to The New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble. Goldust was fantastic throughout the entire team (whether with Cody or Stardust), a reinvigorated man proving that time truly does not matter when motivation and DDP Yoga is involved.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
