Considered one of the most embarrassing gimmicks in wrestling history, Kevin Nash's efforts to pull off the confused Wizard of Oz gimmick during WCW's attempt to compete with Vince McMahon's cartoonish opposition was a mammoth misfire when they needed it least. Initially afforded an expensive entourage, the entire presentation was eventually just phased back to feature a caped Big Kev in green tights broadly working heel until he was given his Vinnie Vegas escape hatch.
