The Miz Eliminated From Dancing With The Stars

Could this open the door for the former WWE Champion's Raw return?

The Miz was knocked out of Dancing With The Stars on last night's show.

The former WWE Champion and partner Witney Carson found themselves in the bottom two on the night before being put out. Miz's elimination comes despite WWE continually plugging his Dancing With The Stars run on Monday nights, with the broadcast team asking people to vote to keep him around. Now, however, it looks like the 41-year-old is on his way back to professional wrestling.

The Miz hasn't been on WWE television since the 23 August episode of Raw, on which he split from tag partner John Morrison, who turned babyface in the process. The duo looked set to feud and a bout between the two was booked for the following week. This was ultimately cancelled on 30 August, when Morrison claimed Miz had "ran off back to Hollywood," leading to him eating a two-minute squash to Omos on the night.

Morrison has not been featured prominently in Miz's absence, working four Main Event matches compared to two on Raw since his former partner departed.

WWE is yet to announce anything regarding Miz's return.
